A unique score is generated based on parameters like your followers, mentions, retweets etc. One component of the score will include a sum of approximate scores of each of your followers calculated based on their number of followers, tweets and the time since they registered on twitter. Once the score is generated, it is used to generate your rank amongst other twitter users who have chosen to find out their scores on this website.
